The Fattoria di Vitigliano, 20 km from Florence, is one of the most interesting rural settlements of the whole Chianti region. Inside an estate of about 77 hectars, many of which devoted to the traditional wine an olive-oil production, it lies a 16th century village, dominated by the wonderful Villa of the family Da Verrazzano. The villa still preserves most of its original stone and wood interior decorations. The recovery plan, that has been approved by the Superintendence for Cultural and Landscape Heritage, foresees for the Villa and its rural outbuildings a destination as country resort, conditioned to the maintenance of the original structures and partitions.
